MANY VOICES, ONE CITY

The Guide to the Community Media of Metropolitan New York

The Jewish Week

The NY Jewish Week was born in the late 1970s, and now includes three regional editions serving New York City, Westchester County and Long Island. The print newspaper reaches more than 55,000 households each week, and the online edition receives hundreds of thousands of monthly visitors. Over the years, The NY Jewish Week has won numerous local and national journalism awards for its reporting.

In July 2020, The Jewish Week announced it would move faster in the direction of a digital-first enterprise, placing its weekly print edition on hiatus while concentrating on an all-digital model. In print or online, the goal of The Jewish Week is to satisfy longtime audiences, find a new generation of readers and enable us to more precisely target our journalism and advertising to the wide geographic expanse of the New York Jewish community.
